Intimately Romantic West Coast Tofino Wedding<\/h2>\n

I’m so so very excited to finally share this crazy romantic, intimate little Tofino wedding. I first met Jade at her friend’s Rhonda’s wedding, one of my previous clients who got married in Mexico! Some images from her<\/strong> own romantic wedding are here<\/a>. Jade and I became friends and kept in touch .. so when she messaged me asking if I’d be willing to go to Tofino to photograph her own elopement to her fiancee Peter, I was ecstatic. I love elopements and I love the Island .. it has been about six years since I’ve been to Tofino .. and to get to go AND shoot a Tofino wedding was definitely on my bucket list.<\/p>\n

Jade and Peter had a small, intimate ceremony with only their family and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The rain even stopped enough to get photos and not have a truly soaking February ceremony and the sun made a wonderful appearance in the middle of the ceremony. There was a crazy amount of laughter during the photos and a lot of fun bloopers as well as some serious beauty! Shooting on the West Coast is the definition of magical!!<\/p>\n

I can’t even begin to put into words how much I love this wedding and how much I love the energy between Jade and Peter. They are both so relaxed and easygoing but also so very photogenic and hilarious to photograph. I made them jump, I made them make faces, I made them walk (almost) in the water, I made them freeze their bums off during the cold .. but I think we had a lot of fun as well and I’d do it all again in a second! Oh and one of my absolute favourite parts was when Peter’s vows included part of the lyrics to “Never Gonna Give You Up<\/a>” by Rick Astley .. Soooo cute, haha.
