Ahhh, so happy to upload my first wedding of the season. I’ve been looking forward to this wedding for so long for several reasons. First, as I already mentioned, it was my first wedding and I was antsy to start shooting the beauty that is weddings! Second, I love Carlie and Markus and I loved getting to know them over the last couple of years. We clicked from the very beginning and I love photographing people I connect with .. it makes my job so much more amazing (as if it’s not amazing enough already). And it makes the couple more relaxed, leading to even more amazing creativity between the three of us :) And of course, it helps that Carlie and Markus are ridiculously adorable and so nice and I know they’ll have an amazingly happy life together. And did I mention that they’re always smiling???

Their beautiful wedding took place on a beautifully sunny day at the gorgeous UBC Boathouse in Richmond, with photos at the River Rock and the Olympic Oval. Everything was perfect and magical and full of charm. I know I say this often and maybe I should start ending my blog posts with it .. I love my job. I really do. I am lucky to make so many connections .. and photograph so many amazing couples. Below are some of my favourite photos from Carlie and Markus’ magical day.
