Welcome to Spring!

I can never decide if my favourite season is Spring of Fall. I think I love them equally and I think they are both STUNNING. Seriously, those colours. So different but each so lovely. One of my absolute favourite things about Spring is the temperature .. still cold but the sun is shining more, the air is fresher, flowers are coming back to life, the streets are lined with gorgeous cherry blossoms, so much so that it’s often snowing beautiful petals of blossoms … Flowers everywhere, greens are abundant again, people seem happier! Dog parks are busier, puppies are playing more, the rain (well, the rain is always there) .. seems fresher. Overall, it’s a promise of more to come and it’s so ridiculously beautiful. I could photograph Spring again and again and it would never be enough. I’m also lucky to live in East Vancouver, where Springtime is especially beautiful … so many blossoms! So many heritage houses with blossoms right outside, so many petals on the ground … so much character in the neighbourhood. It’s genuinely one of my favourite place to shoot!
