Ohhhh, Dana and Hossein. I love these two. I have known Dana since she was a wee little one of about six! :) Such a cute kid and SUCH a gorgeous bride to me (those eyes!). I am so excited to see her get married and more than that, so very honoured and humbled to be the one capturing these beautiful memories for her! Dana and Hossein are getting married in Mexico in February 2016 and to say I’m looking forward to a week in the sunshine with family and friends capturing their beautiful love is an understatement. I love being a destination wedding photographer in addition to being a Vancouver wedding photographer and have shot quite a few weddings abroad since I started. Since their wedding will be full of sunshine and soft golden sands and crystal clear waters, we decided to do their Vancouver engagement shoot with backdrops of mountains and green lush trees as well as a bit of character thrown in. Dana wanted to throw a bit more flair with a graffiti East Vancouver backdrop and I knew the perfect spot for her! One of my early favourites, I love the surrounding graffiti and artistic walls and nearby local businesses. Put everything together and beautiful golden light and we had a pretty wonderful session. and again, how about her eyes? wow!). Miss Silvia Make-Up did such an amazing job! Hossein’s daughter came along later in the shoot and she could easily be one of the most beautiful young ladies I have ever had the pleasure to photograph .. and she was so much fun too!
