I’m a little slow in updating some of my news but I’m happy to say (better late than never) that one of my favourite weddings of 2013 has been featured again recently, this time on the gorgeous Belle the Magazine blog! I’m so happy as it’s one of my all-time favourite weddings and all-time favourite couples. The sweet Samantha and Guillaume had a gorgeous DIY wedding at the vintage and very photogenic Aberthau Mansion in Point Grey. The bride made almost everything herself – a ridiculously impressive feat – so the vendors are few ;) See the feature below!

Touches of bright pink and a green fresh atmosphere made this whimsical wedding feel laid-back and romantic! Roxana Albusel Photography exquisitely captured every pretty moment of this affair and the stunning wedding dress on this woman.  The lovely open back cutout with lace detailing is just beautiful. But let’s talk cake!  It was a bold move to detour the frosting and icing over this naked cake, but it was one of a kind and came out gorgeous.  Layered with tiers of delicate white roses and topped with a glamorous heart filled cake topper, I’m sure this sweet confection was as yummy as it was fabulous!
